1. Ms Simran Kaur from Jammu has been selected to represent India for 17th World School Games to be held at France from 14 to 22 May 2022 . To add to the existing sports facilities at MA Stadium, Jammu ,the parents of Simran Kaur decided to present Air Conditioners for the Gymnastics Hall , so that Gymnasts could practice in sweltering heat and summer months also.
2. As a mark of respect , ten families of Martyred Soldiers and police officials were invited for a small function at Jammu Stadium. During their interaction, the Gymnasts were motivated by the Veer Naris to prepare themselves for the sporting event , with the dedication of a soldier. Father of Simranjit Kaur is DevinderPal Singh, who is State Advisory Secretary ( Veer Nari Cell ) , NCCHWO, J&K.National Administrator, NCCHWO, Brig Harcharan Singh was present along with Ms Paramjit Kaur and many dignitaries of Jammu.
3. National Committe, NCCHWO appreciated the help provided to Improve the sports infrastructure and the efforts to raise morale of Gymnasts by inviting families of Martyres for the programme.
