* . 1. The media acts as watchdog , thus ensuring that all the pillars of democracy function within the parameters of laid down limits. The investigative journalism brings out the truth, which may be ,at times, intentionally hidden or distorted ,to provide wrong information. Many a times ,the elected Government Heads
were forced to resign, after the media uncovered the truth behind a scam , hidden behind the layers of lies. Not only Media persons have to work hard but finding true story is full of dangers and challenges Many media persons have sacrificed their lives , either during the process of investigation or when the investigation proved to create serious trouble to some organization/ individual. Many of the mediapersons fade away, unsung and unknown.
2. To appreciate the efforts put in to bring truthful news to the society, NCCHWO decided to felicitate Staff of Daily Janpath. Delegation of NCCHWO felicitated Mr Aekanti Roy Garg, (Editor in Chief ) and Mr Jagdeep Sharma (Bureau Chief) , both from Daily Janpath. The delegation was lead by Mr Ranjeet Verma, National Chief Secretary, Vikas Sharma, State General Secretary (Civil Defense Cell), Mr. Mansa Ram Morya, State Secretary (Civil Defense Cell). This media house has worked tirelessly, even during COVID Pandemic,to ensure that news with high degree of credibility and authencity are fed to the Society.
3. Mr Ranjit Verma said , most of us are not aware about the hardwork put in by media , to ensure, the authentic news is presented to the Public. It is the sincerity and professional investigation of our media personals that accountability is assured from various Government Departments. The Truth Prevails due to combined efforts of Police, Judiciary and Media.In many a cases, the credit of ensuring justice goes to timely investigation and collection of proof by the Media.
